Shotblasting and Painting Systems

Gietart 'Sprint' shotblasting system

On the 20th of November 2009, KALTENBACH GmbH + Co. KG, based in Lörrach, Germany, acquired through an asset deal, the manufacturing facility and brand of Gietart BV the shotblasting and painting systems company, based in Hengelo, Holland.

This investment further extends Kaltenbach’s market leading capability as a systems provider for the processing of structural steel sections and plate, through direct control and supply of the brand leading range of Gietart shotblasting and automated painting lines.

Valentin Kaltenbach, Managing Director of the new Company and CEO of the Kaltenbach Group said, “We have formed a 100% daughter company trading as Kaltenbach Shotblast and Painting Systems B.V. under the Gietart brand. The new company will become operational from the 23rd November 2009. There is a proven synergy between Kaltenbach and Gietart technologies, having been independently and successfully integrated for many years within installations worldwide."
