Kaltenbach UK will be hosting an Open House Event, from 10-12th Nov 2009 at their Bedford headquarters, which will provide customers with some significant new opportunities to combat the impact of the recession and help speed recovery as the markets improve!

Simon Smith, Managing Director, Kaltenbach UK says, “Kaltenbach’s relentless pursuit to continually develop improvements in process efficiencies are providing industry with new, innovative and highly efficient technology gains which are making a significant contribution to the competitiveness of our customers in the current difficult trading conditions. This event will introduce some totally new machines, make available used, factory-reconditioned machines and emphasize the extent of our UK spares and engineering support team, all of which continue to provide our customers with the best means of countering many of the current testing market conditions”..

The Bedford event will provide hands-on demonstrations of some completely new sawing technology, showing for the first time in the UK. Included is the UK launch of the first billet saw of it’s type, an MSK 471 NA; a very high performance, circular blade saw for ultra-fast, accurate, straight sawing of general purpose and particularly hard, difficult to cut metals of up to 152mm diameter. Key features include the processing of minimal cut-off lengths, short cycle times and an extremely flexible, fully automated sorting feature. In-feed magazine options include, flat and bundle types.

The new generation of Behringer HBV production bandsaws, offering all the cutting advantages of sawing with a carbide blade, will have its UK début demonstration at the event. With completely new styling, HBV models provide general purpose, high-performance, straight-cutting capacity of up to ∅510mm or 500mm x 500mm flat and provide good value performance and cost-per-cut technology for a general mix of materials from the exotic to regular steels, incorporating many sophisticated features as standard.

On sale at the Bedford event will be a mix of Kaltenbach’s highly sought after ‘factory reconditioned’ back-to-new, used machines, for which demand has always outstripped supply. Kaltenbach factory reconditioned saws provide tremendous value for money, achieving an as new machine at a fraction of a new machines cost, which is especially attractive to customers in the present financially challenging climate.

Exhibiting will be a large range of Kaltenbach and Behringer semi and fully automatic saws, for billet cutting to metal fabrication, for stockholders and engineering workshops, processing exotics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The event will emphasize Kaltenbach’s renowned nationwide spares and engineering support services, which have become even more vital in supporting customers as they tighten capital expenditure and extend the need to maximize machine operating life and reliability.
