New bandsaw HBP313A
increases capacity, enhances sawing economics
Kaltenbach Ltd have announced a new bandsaw, the Behringer HBP 313A, a precision, automatic straight cutting machine that provides a very economic solution for the cutting of wider material, particularly when raft-cutting.
The HBP 313A, a compact bandsaw with a heavy duty capability, is fitted with an extra-wide, 510mm travel, hydraulically operated variable pressure jaw. This enables wide material or multiples of smaller material to be readily cut. Maximum individual piece material capacity is up to 310mm round or square, or 500mm wide x 300mm high.
An ideal general purpose machine for cutting a range of ferrous and non-ferrous solids, tubes or sections. The HBP313A is derived from an established and well proven bandsawing range, to provide an enhanced, economic sawing solution. Twin pillars and robust cast and welded construction combine with PLC controls and a range of advanced features to ensure a highly accurate, quality cut finish. Extended band life is achieved through a 45º inclined bow with a 3º cutting inclination ensuring smooth blade entry and exit. Adjustable band speed and integral band back-off and pressure regulation also help to achieve the best possible cutting results.
An optional, user-friendly NC control system viewed in an LCD display, enables pre selection of programmes controlling cut length and batch sizes.
Kaltenbach welcome the opportunity to help advise customers on the many sawing options available and to demonstrate machines, including the new HBP313A, in their extensive Bedford demonstration facility.
