3-axis drilling in one pass, with optional integrated saw

The Kaltenbach KD series of CNC medium duty structural drilling systems provide state of the art

drilling to suit a range of material and budget requirements.

Comprising 6 basic models, from the economy KDE503 to the top of the range KD1215 machine, which readily

handles 1200 x 400H beams for example.

KD series machines have two horizontal and one vertical axis drill spindle, with a maximum drill capacity of

30mm diameter and are fitted as standard with an auto tool changer. The value engineered Economy range of

KDE 503 and 603 machines, do not have a tool changer but combine excellent performance with cost efficiency.

They are ideal for smaller structural steel applications, portable buildings, mezzanine floor producers or similar

fabrication requirements.

An optional Kaltenbach KBS620 DG NC high performance mitre cutting bandsaw machine can be fully integrated

into KD and KDE drilling systems, enabling sawn mitres of +30º to -45º. A neat, user-friendly touch-screen

control makes operation simple.
